Our client based in Perth is looking for a Human Resources Consultant for a temporary period. This is a great opportunity to work within a government department.
**Your new role**
During this role you will be required to:
- Provide a hands-on approach in the delivery of different services
- Lead and participate in the development of business improvements
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and provide support to other HR services staff
- Lead and complete delegated projects
- Work with key stakeholders and contribute to the development and implementation on the improvement plans
- Actively support and assist the manager HR services in the delivery of customer focussed human resource services across the company
- Demonstrate and lead ethical behaviour in accordance with relevant standards
- Maintain awareness of contemporary human resource management to support self-development
- Any other duties as required
**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience in the similar position required but also:
- Considerable experience in generalist HR management related to the core duties and responsibilities
- Demonstrate ability to identify and undertake project and business improvement activities
- Sound understanding of contemporary human resource issues and trends
- Demonstrate commitment to achieving a high level of client service.
- Demonstrate skills in negotiating and influencing others to achieve business outcomes.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with others.
- Ability to prepare a range of written documentation including project documents, business cases, classification and business reports and general correspondence.
- Ability to formally deliver presentations to various stakeholders and teams.
