As the Principal HR Consultant specialising in Employment Relations, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert HR advice, leading case management, and building the capability of the HR advisory team.

In this role, you will:
- Provide timely, expert advice and case management on workplace matters such as conduct, performance, grievances, appeals, and organisational change.
- Research, prepare, and present high-quality written documentation and briefings on complex HR and employment-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering tailored programs and expert case management.
- Work closely with your manager to foster capability development in the team and contemporary HR practices.
- Deliver HR projects, strategies, and initiatives aligned with Treasury's Strategic Workforce Plan and business needs.
What experience you will bring:
To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Comprehensive experience in end-to-end complex case management and employment relations matters.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently brief on complex workplace matters to leaders and executives.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, adapting quickly, identifying emerging issues, and providing expert advice.
- Proven relationship-building and collaboration skills with leaders and executives.
- Experience leading or contributing to HR projects.
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, however, relevant qualifications to accompany demonstrated experience will be highly regarded.
