We are seeking a motivated and dedicated teacher to join our team as a secondary educator in the English department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons that integrate biblical perspectives into each subject area.
* Develop and implement hands-on curricula based on the Australian Curriculum that promote personalised learning and student exploration.
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning culture that values home/school partnerships and student wellbeing.
* Use technology strategically to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Proven commitment to Christian faith and regular involvement in a church community.
* Good understanding of and commitment to the mission and philosophy of Leighland Christian School.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Current Tasmanian Teacher's Registration (or the ability to obtain one).
* A current Working with Vulnerable People card.
* A recent written reference from a pastor/minister.
