We're hiring a Sous Chef for Cucina Regina, our world-class Italian style venue based at the Star Brisbane, in the heart of the city.
We're looking for a person who brings personality, loves working with people, and thrives in busy environments. As Sous Chef, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will become an important part of our culinary management team and drive day-to-day operations, collaborating as part of the food and beverage team to create a positive and memorable team and guest experience.
You will provide exceptional culinary skills, outstanding communication, and lead a successful kitchen team. You'll support the transition to The Star Brisbane, leading change, maintaining the highest service and safety standards, and fostering positive relationships.

What We're Looking For
Demonstrated leadership experience
Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
Demonstrated knowledge of high-volume food preparation
Strong understanding of food safety requirements
Italian experience is preferable.
You will be able to provide exceptional culinary skills, outstanding communication, and hold the ability to lead a successful kitchen team with a proven track record in achieving financial targets. It is also an important part of this role to drive change and communicate effectively.
