Job Title: Fixed Plant Fitter
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Fixed Plant Fitter. This position requires expertise in diagnosing faults, inspecting, and testing machinery in a fixed-plant environment on the surface and underground.
The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, minimum 2 years' mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment, and proficiency in maintaining surface and underground pumping systems, fixed ventilation fans, rotary vane compressors, and primary ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose faults, inspect, and test machinery in a fixed-plant environment on the surface and underground
* Perform routine inspections of fixed-plant machinery, ventilation, dewatering air supply systems, including ancillary equipment and surface assets
* Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical components to process equipment
Requirements:
* C Class Western Australian driver's license
* Relevant Trade Certificate (Fixed Plant Mechanic)
* Minimum 2 years' mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment
* Experience maintaining surface and underground pumping systems, fixed ventilation fans, rotary vane compressors, and primary ventilation systems
