About the Role:
Our Private Tax team is expanding and we're looking for a Senior Consultant to join our community of solvers. The team works with clients throughout their business lifecycle, supporting privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups, estate and succession planning, wealth preservation, and more. We provide holistic solutions to help clients grow and protect their wealth with confidence.

You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with private business clients, understanding their tax needs, and providing tailored advice.
* Ensuring clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
* Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies, including succession planning, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
* Staying updated with tax laws and regulations, conducting research to provide informed guidance.
* Mentoring and supporting junior staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Identifying tax risks and developing mitigation strategies to protect clients.
* Providing updates on tax legislation changes to clients.
* Advising high net worth individuals, families, and business owners on technical tax topics such as restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A, and trusts.
* Providing compliance, planning, and advisory services for large groups with various entities.
* Assisting with tax due diligence, reviewing purchase agreements, and implementing acquired entities.
