Based out of our Thomastown depot our drill sites vary from around Melbourne to country Victoria and interstate.
Star Drilling operates 17 drilling rigs from large sonic rigs to small geoprobes and engage in a variety of drilling methods, auger, rotary air, rotary mud, diamond and sonic drilling.

We are looking for a number of experienced Driller Assistants, to join our team who:
* Can work effectively in a team with a positive and proactive attitude
* Have the flexibility and are happy to do away work
* Physically fit and prepared for all drilling operation tasks
* Committed to a high level of safety
* Carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment
* Have had above ground drilling experience
What we need from you:
* At a minimum MR, prefer HR (manual) drivers license
* Construction Industry Induction card
* Rail Industry Worker card (preferred)
* Need to be able to start work at 6am in Thomastown
* Regular overtime and some weekend work will be required.
* Preference given to candidates living within 1 hour from Thomastown
* A mechanical aptitude will be looked on favourably
* Australian work authorisation required for this position
