Salary: UOM 6 – $100,847 – $109,163 p.a. (pro-rata for Part Time) plus 17% super
Your responsibilities
* Advocate for Collection Interests: Represent and facilitate display and conservation requirements within exhibition project teams.
* Manage Exhibition Logistics: Coordinate inward loans, including agreements, packing, freight, and insurance for temporary exhibitions.
* Enhance Collection Standards: Contribute to the development of documentation standards, workflows, and guidelines.
* Support Academic Engagement: Facilitate displays, workshops, and internships to provide students with industry experience.
Qualifications
* Experience managing local, national, and international loans and commissions, with expertise in contract management, logistics, risk mitigation, and a strong understanding of conservation principles.
* Experience with EMu Collection Management system or similar.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with lenders, freight companies, and insurance brokers.
* Proficient in preparing and analysing registration budgets and managing expenditures.
* Strong initiative and respect within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Relevant tertiary degree and/or sector experience.
