The Opportunity
At Shine, we champion better justice for our clients. As a full‐time, permanent Administration Assistant/Paralegal based in our Toowoomba team, you will be the first person clients meet, making a meaningful, long‐lasting impact every day for the people we support, our legal teams and the entire firm.
While this role is primarily administrative, it will be based at our Toowoomba reception desk and will include front‐office duties such as greeting clients and maintaining a clean and tidy meeting space. Your proactive nature in looking for work will be valued.
Responsibilities
* Support the legal team with administrative tasks and optimise internal systems to process information.
* Build strong relationships with clients, interpreting their needs and connecting them with the appropriate legal team members.

* Respond to inbound calls, couriers and emails from clients, ensuring they feel looked after and supported.
* Assist in preparing matters for conferences and hearings, including collating briefs for counsel and experts, conducting legal searches, preparing court and legal documents, and handling general correspondence.
* Provide both chargeable and non‐chargeable support to the legal team to maximise client compensation, from file opening to closing.
