About the Role: As Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of both company-owned and contract broiler farms. Your primary focus will be on bird health, farm efficiency, and leading a small team to deliver optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of broiler farm operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. Maintain optimal bird welfare conditions including temperature, lighting, ventilation, and sanitation. Manage feeding programs in collaboration with nutritionists to support healthy growth and performance. Monitor bird health and implement disease prevention strategies. Ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained and biosecure. Lead and supervise a team of staff, including training, performance monitoring, and rostering. Maintain accurate farm records and analyse data for continual improvement. Ensure compliance with WHS, biosecurity, and environmental standards. About You: Proven experience in broiler poultry management, ideally within free-range operations. Strong background in animal husbandry and a genuine commitment to bird welfare. Knowledge of biosecurity protocols, quality systems, and workplace health and safety. Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and train staff.
