As a Treasury Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the execution of funding and capital strategies that keep the business running efficiently. You'll work across cashflow monitoring, facility operations and financial analysis, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role offers hands‐on treasury experience with strong learning and development opportunities.
What you will be doing
1. Supporting the execution of the organisation's funding and capital requirements to ensure liquidity needs are met efficiently and in line with approved policies and covenants
2. Assisting with both routine and non‐routine funding activities across allocated facilities, helping to deliver capital‐efficient and dependable funding outcomes
3. Managing the end‐to‐end process for asset transfers between facilities, including coordinating internal and external stakeholders, legal documentation and cashflow movements
4. Monitoring daily liquidity, cashflows and physical bank accounts to ensure accurate funding and operational continuity
5. Supporting the ongoing operation of funding facilities through surveillance reporting, covenant compliance and issue resolution
6. Providing high‐quality financial analysis, research, models and insights to senior team members to support funding and capital strategy decisions
7. Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners such as banks, trustees, investors and legal advisers
8. Contributing to a strong risk, compliance and continuous‐improvement culture, including supporting agile ways of working and process improvements
Desired skills and experience
9. Experience in treasury, rating agency or a related analytical role within banking or financial services
10. Strong capability in Excel, including building and maintaining financial models for analysis and reporting, with VBA experience for automation and efficiency improvements
11. Experience with financial modelling, cashflow analysis and scenario analysis within securitisation, structured finance or treasury
12. Exposure to data and analytics tools, such as SQL and Python, to query data, perform analysis and support existing models
13. Understanding of the mortgage or broader lending industry, including securitisation, funding and capital considerations
14. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
15. High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to managing cashflows, documentation and compliance requirements
16. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and resolve issues proactively
17. Strong communication and stakeholder‐management skills, with confidence working across teams and with external partners
