Job Role: Fleet and Warehouse Assistant
This role is responsible for the overall upkeep of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained and prepared for transport. In addition to this, you will provide support to our warehouse team in preparing equipment and tools for deployment, as well as carrying out day-to-day operations.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all vehicles
* Preparing vehicles for transport, including fuelling and inspecting
* Packing and unpacking containers and loading/unloading goods from freight companies
* Loading and unloading tools and equipment for out-site teams
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting of vehicle damage
* Providing support to the warehouse team in maintaining a safe and organized working environment
Key Requirements:
* A current forklift license or willingness to obtain
* A current manual driver's license
* Safety-focused with strong commitment to operating safely
* Flexibility to work varying hours to meet business needs
* An organised and self-motivated approach to work, with effective time management skills
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain productivity under pressure
* Able to work autonomously and take initiative when required
