About the Role
As our
Payroll & Administration Assistant
, you'll be a key part of the engine room that keeps everything running smoothly. Reporting to our Accountant and working closely with the Operations team, you'll make sure our people get paid accurately and on time—and help keep our admin shipshape.
Your Day-to-Day Could Include:
Running weekly payroll for 100+ fantastic team members
Onboarding and preparing employment contracts
Monthly reconciliation and lodgement of superannuation and payroll tax
Providing friendly, accurate support to staff queries
Maintaining employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
Keeping track of crew qualifications, training docs, and forms
Filing (both digital and old-school paper) for daily operations
Helping manage our uniform stock—yes, someone has to keep everyone looking sharp
What You'll Bring:
Experience with Sage Micropay (highly advantageous), XERO, ResPax (awesome but not essential)
Ability to interpret various industrial instruments
Excellent communication and time-management skills
A reputation for confidentiality and professionalism
Background in tourism or hospitality? Great Not required, but definitely a plus.
