Occupational Therapist Position
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, empowering patients to live their lives to the fullest. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high-quality care to patients with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have extensive post-graduate clinical experience in inpatient settings, managing patients with complex care needs. They will also possess excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current registration with AHPRA.
* Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in an inpatient setting managing patients with complex care needs.
* Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
