Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and maintain client relationships with Japanese corporations. As an Associate, Relationship Manager, you will collaborate with business and product partners to achieve profit targets.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in financial institutions, accounting firms, consultancies, or equivalent roles, and hold a degree in Banking, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; relevant qualifications preferred.
You will be responsible for:
* Achieving profit targets by collaborating with business and product partners including structured finance, transaction banking, and global markets.
* Initiating RORA improvements and profit growth within your designated portfolio.
* Supporting department KPIs and team objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include Managing Client Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for client communications and visits. Coordinate with internal teams to promote banking services to clients. Understand clients' financial statements and assess risks (credit, business, compliance).
Team Collaboration: Build trust with global relationship managers, product, and business partners. Manage end-to-end transaction processes and develop stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 7+ years of experience in financial institutions, accounting firms, consultancies, or equivalent roles.
* Degree in Banking, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; relevant qualifications preferred.
* Experience in sales and marketing with knowledge of banking products and managing corporate clients.
* Experience working with international clients is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills for clear financial reporting.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Power Point.
* Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent Japanese language skills are preferred.
