About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support key analytics and operational systems. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
* Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across multiple sources and environments
* Develop and maintain data infrastructure in cloud and/or on-premise environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies
* Optimize data workflows and processing for performance and scalability
* Participate in the design and implementation of data governance and security best practices
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a Data Engineering or related role
* Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
* Proficient in data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi)
* Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
* Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing tasks
* Must have hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Azure (including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, etc.)
o Microsoft Fabric
o Dynamics 365 (D365)
* Familiarity with cloud data services and security best practices
* Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Terraform)
Desirable
* Experience working in government, defense, or regulated industries
* Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
