THE ORGANISATION
This Registered Training Organisation is based in Darwin, NT Australia with a global presence. They provide a range of customised educational solutions for individuals, communities & organisations.
THE POSITION
This RTO is in the process of applying to add new qualifications to their scope, including Certificate II, II and III in EAL.
These positions are initially for paid pre-registration paperwork completion with a view to continuous employment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Deliver structured, flexible, relevant and engaging training sessions
* Assist all students to achieve their training goals
* Support students to complete their courses as per their training plans and course schedules
* Develop and deliver courses in accordance with training packages and industry requirements
* Ensure all training resources are current and are compliant
* Participate in and contribute to validation and moderation
* Complete and maintain all training records accurately and document assessment results for submission
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the training department and wider organisation
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements
Qualifications And Experience
Appropriate qualifications include but are not limited to:
* A four-year Bachelor of Education, with TESOL as a method
* An undergraduate bachelor degree plus a Master of Teaching with TESOL as a method
* An undergraduate bachelor degree plus Graduate Diploma of Education with TESOL as a method
* An initial teacher education qualification plus a postgraduate qualification that includes a 22-day supervised teaching practicum in TESOL, such as a:
o Graduate Certificate in Education (TESOL)
o Graduate Certificate in TESOL
o Graduate Diploma in TESOL
o Master of TESOL / Master of Applied Linguistics / Master of Arts (TESOL)
* High level organisational and administrative skills
* Focused on student engagement and learning
* Strong communication and people management skills
* Ability to self-motivate as well as motivate others
* Ability to work in a team environment and be receptive and positive to change
SALARY
Negotiable, depending on experience
