About this Role
The primary objective of the Costing Manager position is to effectively manage and control country business operations, specifically focusing on standard cost determination and control, cost accounting and billing, and cost analysis.
* Collect and analyze costs associated with Business activities, including product costs, AF OF & Local services, freights, vendors, operational expenses, and other direct/indirect overheads.
* Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date Billing and invoicing. Review and audit these processes to guarantee they reflect the latest cost analysis and Profit/Loss estimation.
* Support and monitor cycle count development, analyzing areas for improvement in costing.
* Analyze actual expenses, Product, and costs against Budget, identify differences, and research/explain variances. Report relevant information as required.
* Work with the Finance controller to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures when necessary.
* Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting Business profitability of products Profit/Loss statements.
* Maintain the financial system C1.
* Support Financial Planner in Budget/Forecasting process related to estimated costs, Inventory Valuation, and Expense Analysis.
* Generate ad hoc reports to support Operations.
