Your New Role:
As Retail Manager, you will oversee operations across multiple boutiques and act as the key link between stores and head office. You’ll ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and operational excellence while leading and supporting boutique managers to meet sales targets and uphold brand standards. Working closely with marketing, merchandising, supply chain and finance teams, you’ll coordinate activities to align boutique operations with overall business goals.
Regular travel between Sydney and Melbourne boutiques will keep you connected to each store’s performance and needs.
Lead daily operations across multiple boutiques, ensuring consistent high standards in customer experience and store presentation
Serve as the main point of contact between boutiques and head office, facilitating clear communication and operational alignment
Support boutique managers in recruitment, training, rostering and performance management to drive sales and operational results
Manage inventory, stock control and loss prevention processes across sites
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement marketing campaigns, merchandising initiatives and promotional events
Oversee boutique budgets, expenses and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations
The Experience Checklist:
Proven experience managing multi-site retail boutique operations with a hands on approach, preferably within premium or luxury retail
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold boutique managers accountable for sales results
Experience in stock and inventory management with attention to loss prevention
The ability to provide clear business advice and operational strategy to store teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work closely with cross functional teams and senior management
Willingness to travel regularly between Sydney and Melbourne boutiques
A practical mindset, comfortable rolling up sleeves and involved in day to day retail challenges
