Some of the key responsibilities include:

* Preparing chemicals, equipment, and materials for experiments and demonstrations;

* Designing, constructing, and maintaining teaching aids and equipment;

* Collecting and caring for living organisms for study purposes;

* General housekeeping of chemicals, equipment, and facilities;

* Maintaining accurate records and reports;

* Assisting with training and development programs for staff and students;

* Providing administrative support to the Science Department;

Suitable candidates will have:

* A strong understanding of laboratory techniques and relevant safety and legislative requirements;

* Demonstrated knowledge of science subjects relevant to the curriculum taught in secondary schools;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* Strong organisational and time management skills;
