We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Out of Hospital Care Worker to join our team in the Goulburn area.
Job Description:
As an Out of Hospital Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance to clients, including cleaning, laundry, transportation, shopping, and meal preparation. You will also assist with daily hygiene tasks such as showering or bathing, provide mobility support, and maintain and monitor client plans, including documentation and progress note keeping.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Domestic Assistance (cleaning, laundry, transportation, shopping, meal preparation)
* Supervising or assisting with daily hygiene tasks
* Mobility support
* Maintaining and monitoring client plans
* Effective communication and liaison with clients, families, and professionals
* Respecting client privacy and dignity
* Completing shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in Community Services and Individual Support, as well as a genuine interest in empowering individual independence. A Certificate III in Community Services or Individual Support is highly desirable. You will also need to have or be willing to obtain certain certifications and checks, including a Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Driver's License, Comprehensive Car Insurance, and more.
