Our Client isseeking a driven leader to join their team as A FOREMAN/LEADING HAND operating in the road safety barrier guardrail repairs and installation in NSW.

What you’ll do

Our Client is a leading supplier and installer of Road Safety Barriers – guardrail and wire rope repairs and installations throughout NSW. Contracting to Transport for NSW, many councils along with various civil developers/contractors and National Parks NSW.

We are seeking an experienced Foreman/Leading Hand, to lead by example and oversee on-site crews during the repair and installation of Guardrail and Wire Rope safety barriers.

In this role you will oversee daily operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, installed efficiently and to a high standard.

Lead a skilled crew and plan daily tasks, monitor progress, inspect work, and maintain quality and safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, address hazards, comprehend drawings/specs, coordinate with Traffic control and subcontractors.

Manage materials, equipment, and site logistics document logs and ITP's. With licensed ASHTAS teams and specialized equipment, to guarantee meeting the client's timeframes in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, train, motivate and supervise on-site crews to consistently meet performance and quality standards for the safe and efficient installation of road safety barriers and related infrastructure.
* Coordinate daily onsite operations, ensuring work follows project plans, maintain safety standards.
* Maintain progress in line with project timelines and quality expectations.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all company WHS protocols. Including Pre-starts, toolbox talks and the completion of SWMS.
* Work collaboratively with the senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
* Maintain a positive presence on-site, providing guidance and support to team members.
* Complete and submit daily job sheets, time sheets, and maintain an up-to-date electronic site diary.
* Ensure all ITP's are recorded digitally along with machine pre-starts, Toolbox SWMS.

About You

3 years' experience in Road Safety Barrier installation as a senior installer or leading hand.

Previous experience in running a small to medium size team of installers.

Clean MR Driver’s License.

Certification with skid steer, excavator and competency with Orteco HD 1000 Pile driver (certificated) will be highly regarded.

Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service to customers.

Experience managing multiple projects with strong organisational skills in managing staff and materials.

Ability to work well unsupervised and as part of a team.

Ability to travel away - (LAFHA supplied).

Excellent eye for quality and detail.

Construction White card.

Reliable, dependable and trustworthy.

Must be fit and capable of manual lifting of materials.

Provide onsite training and a complete induction process for crew staff.

CPR and current First Aid Course certification.

ASHTAS accredited.

A very attractive remuneration package with an outstanding performance-based incentive scheme is on offer and will be discussed with the successful candidate. This package would see On Target Earnings of $130000 per year plus 12% Super and holiday leave loading.

Relocation assistance would be considered with the successful applicant.

Airbnb or motel accommodation supplied when working away along with an excellent daily LAFHA bonuses.

Performance incentives paid when work is completed inside scheduled time frames.

With salary sacrifice or car allowance options open for the successful candidate.

Yearly review of salary package linked to KPI's and performance.

A combination starting/longevity bonus is on offer and would be discussed with the successful candidate.

$500.00/month attendance bonus

Hours of work: Mon-Fri 7.00am to 6.00pm
