Key Responsibilities
* Deliver social services in a hospital ED setting
* Provide immediate crisis response and short-term support
* Conduct assessments for domestic and family violence risk and safety planning
* Manage child protection concerns and mandatory reporting requirements
* Liaise with relevant agencies and support networks
To be successful in this position, you will need a tertiary qualification in Social Work, membership eligibility with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), experience in hospital or emergency department settings, knowledge of domestic violence and child protection frameworks, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, and flexibility to work varied hours and participate in on-call shifts.
