For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.

Who we are looking for:

• Patient, caring and reliable volunteers who have the heart and passion to help us bring joy and satisfaction to our residents' days
• If you share a passion for enriching the lives of the elderly, this rewarding position is for you!

About the role:

• This role will see you coordinate and engage our lovely residents at Bethanie Elanora in Bunbury in games of Scrabble or other tabletop games of interest.
• Bring laughter and joy to our residents by spending time together engaging in a boardgame. These activities improve both cognitive and physical health as well as promoting happiness and excitement in a fun and social atmosphere.

Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months; flexible hours on weekdays and weekends for a minimum commitment of six months.

Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care.

Training

Volunteers undertake online Infection Control, NDIS Worker Orientation and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
