About the role

The ICT Helpdesk Technician role provides key Level 2 support to resolve second tier help desk enquiries and supports the day-to-day maintenance and running of the School ICT facilities, predominantly at our Mile End Campus.

Key responsibilities include:
Providing the second tier of support for staff and students for ICT and in-class AV issues either over the phone or in person.
Second level helpdesk support to assist and provide guidance for first level helpdesk staff.
Provisioning new accounts and hardware for recent staff and students and providing basic training on the use of their device.
Coordinate repairs of faulty or damaged equipment that is under warranty or covered by accidental damage policies.

About you
Be committed to Christ and Christian education.
Certificate III in Information and Communication Technology or equivalent attainment from employment or training background.
Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
Experience dismantling, repairing and reassembling laptops and desktops.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to prioritise, demonstrate initiative and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks, while working as an effective member of a collaborative team.
Current Drivers Licence.
Willingness to undertake mandatory child safe training and relevant clearances.
