Accounting and Enrolments Assistant
This is a dual-purpose role that provides administrative support to both the Finance and Enrolments functions within our school. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient financial processing, accurate student administration, and compliance with relevant policies.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process accounts payable transactions using accounting systems, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records;
* Maintain data accuracy in student management systems, adhering to privacy standards;
* Assist the enrolment process by providing support for interviews, tours, orientation programs;
The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
The working conditions include typical office environment whilst possibly being at times under pressure or dealing sensitive information.
The position reports directly into 'Assistant Accountant' & 'Finance Manager'.
The key qualifications required for this role are: A tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field (preferably Diploma) along with recent experience (min. 2-3 years) in a similar accounting/finance role preferably from an educational sector including knowledge of relevant software's like Accounts Payable Systems as well as good understanding of Microsoft Office particularly Excel which will enhance their chances.
