We are seeking Experienced Marine Mechanical Fitters to join our team for current and future opportunities. Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and operating systems essential for propulsion, power generation, auxiliary machinery and material handling systems while adhering to stringent safety and environmental standards Maintain detailed records of maintenance, breakdowns and testing. Supervise contractors and provide guidance during shutdown periods. What is required: Demonstrated safety commitment Working knowledge on carrying out maintenance of material handling systems on floating marine assets.(desirable) Working knowledge of marine engines and auxiliary machinery. Experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in mining or a similar industry Australian or Australian recognised trade qualification Current Australian Driver's License HRWL (DG, RB, CN, WP) (highly desirable) Construction Induction Card (Mandatory) MSIC (desirable) Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable) Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.
