Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to join our organization. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining policies and processes aligned with best practices to ensure effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop Risk Management Frameworks: Create and maintain comprehensive risk registers, conduct regular assessments, and prepare reports for senior management to inform governance decisions.
* Oversee Compliance Initiatives: Monitor legislative changes, oversee audits, and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Facilitate Governance Decisions: Maintain risk registers, facilitate workshops, conduct assessments, and prepare reports to inform governance decisions.
* Drive Sustainability Initiatives: Oversee ESG compliance and reporting while driving sustainability initiatives to promote a culture of good governance.
* Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert advice to the Executive Management Team and Board on compliance and risk matters.
* Ensure Business Continuity: Coordinate Audit & Risk Committee agendas and ensure effective business continuity plans are in place.
Requirements
* A relevant degree in Business, Law, Economics, Accounting or similar fields is essential.
* Proven experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance management is required.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes are necessary.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills to coach and influence across all levels of the organization are crucial.
