Nursing Assistant Role Description
This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to deliver an exceptional service to our donors.
Job Responsibilities:
* Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate.
* Create a positive donor experience.
* Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
* Set up machines and collection equipment.
* Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
* Monitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donation.
You will work collaboratively to achieve collection targets.
Requirements:
* Be comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials.
* Occasionally lift between 9–22.7 kg.
* Support and foster a fantastic team culture.
* Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products.
* Be available to work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
