SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - COMMERCIAL BUILDING

* Lead the delivery of complex Tier-1 commercial building projects, valued up to $20M
* Oversee two Project Managers across concurrent sites while preparing for upcoming works
* Salary up to $240 k + super
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who is interested in working for a reputable commercial construction company. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team on a full-time basis. The role is based in Perth - South of the River and involves working on technically complex projects that often operate within live, operational environments within the defence sector. These projects require a high level of planning, coordination, and attention to detail. You will work closely with project Contract Administrators and site team to ensure smooth operations and project deadlines are met.
This pivotal role is responsible for driving outcomes across time, cost, quality, and safety, while fostering a high-performing team and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
This company delivers a diverse range of construction services for both public and private sector clients, including government departments, universities, councils, not-for-profits, and tier-one contractors.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery for commercial builds valued between $5M-$20M+
Provide strategic direction across planning, procurement, execution, and project closure
Cultivate and manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
Manage cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting across all project phases
Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards throughout the project lifecycle
Navigate complex construction in live or sensitive operational environments
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 8 years' experience managing commercial construction projects of $5M+
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Commercially savvy, with a proven ability to optimise project outcomes
Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
