You'll drive process improvement, lead people, and influence service delivery across the Development Services Business Unit—making a real impact on how planning services are experienced by customers and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead planning administration team and daily operations
* Supervise, coach and develop administrative staff
* Drive high-quality customer service delivery standards
* Coordinate correspondence, meetings and reporting outputs
* Monitor team performance, KPIs and service outcomes
* Manage administrative processes and system improvements
* Support financial processes, purchasing and asset tracking
* Collaborate across teams to support planning outcomes
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced leader with strong administrative and customer service expertise. You'll bring:
* Experience leading administrative or business support teams
* Strong organisational and workload management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* High-level customer service and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion
* Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making skills
* Experience with financial processes and reporting support
* Understanding of local government or planning processes
