Purpose
As our Accounts Payable Officer, you will be the unsung hero of the Finance Department.
**Your mission**: to provide essential administrative and clerical support to our Shared Services Accounts Payable Team, playing a fundamental role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions and record-keeping.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems or spreadsheets
- Help manage ledgers and journals, categorise transactions, and ensure that financial data is well-organised and accessible
- Reconcile bank statements with financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in tracking and categorising expenses
- Provide administrative support to the finance department
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Thrives in a high volume invoicing environment
- Deep understanding and confidant in using Microsoft Excel
- Masters the art of excellent verbal and written communication, with a keen attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities, to handle workload and meet strict deadlines
