HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS / FITTERS - BDS TOOWOOMBA
We are offering full-time, permanent opportunities for Diesel Mechanics or Fitters to join our field service team in Toowoomba. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, reputable, and stable company with strong long-term career growth prospects.

The successful candidates will possess the following:
* Relevant trade qualification
* Diagnostic experience
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Experience with trucks and trailers
* Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Truck licence (preferred)
* Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4's
* Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Checking vehicle lighting systems
* Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
