Learning Support Assistant
A Learning Support Assistant is required to provide dedicated support to students in the classroom, enabling them to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III Education Support or equivalent and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience as a learning support / integration / teacher aide is highly regarded but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions for students with diverse needs.
* Support students in completing tasks, staying focused, and transitioning between activities.
* Record observations and feedback on student progress to assist teachers in shaping learning outcomes.
* Foster positive relationships with students across a range of abilities, including disabilities and giftedness.
* Manage communications, complete incident reports, and fulfill other scheduled responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Certificate III Education Support or Professional Certificate of Education Support (Monash University)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience as a learning support / integration / teacher aide highly regarded
