PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) team within the global Network Information Security (NIS) organisation.
The BISO team works with business stakeholders to understand their business model and technology roadmap, acting as the primary interface between the business and the global security organisation.
The role involves engaging with business teams to identify and manage cyber security risk and to deliver on PwC's global cybersecurity strategy.What you'll doWorking closely with local stakeholder groups within PwC Australia to drive our global cybersecurity strategy.
This includes IT, Legal, Risk Management, and client-facing teams who deliver to our clientsAssisting internal business teams with navigating various security assessment processes and the wider NIS organisation, providing security guidance and supportAssisting with identification and management of information security risk areas eg: vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, etcManagement and delivery of both planned projects and risk reduction initiatives from gathering business requirements to working with technical teams, testing and rolling out changesIn addition to the above, this role contributes to Global workstreams to uplift the security posture for the PwC Network as a whole, by working with other BISO and CISO teams from other PwC firmsWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a similar cybersecurity role working with the business (1 to 3 years)The ability to easily communicate and explain cybersecurity principles to non-technical stakeholdersTranslating data into relatable, digestible formats (e.g., presentations, dashboards, reports) for business teams and senior stakeholdersProblem solving with a customer service outlook, working with business teams to achieve positive outcomesAbility to manage workload, prioritise, and recognise when to escalate to managementInterest in PwC's business model, service offerings, and operating environment as it pertains to the firm's threat landscapeProject management skillsExperience working in a globally distributed team is advantageousWhat you'll gainOpportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technologyFlexible working arrangements to balance work and life with your team and clientsClear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership developmentGenerous leave entitlements including four weeks' annual leave and float public holidaysA comprehensive parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregiversWe know that perks are as important as your financial rewards.
