Are you looking to start your career in ICT? We're seeking
enthusiastic and motivated Service Desk Assistants
to join our team and provide frontline ICT support. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for school leavers, university graduates, or anyone eager to grow their skills in IT.
You'll receive training, mentoring, and hands-on experience while helping deliver high-quality ICT services to staff.
Location:
Canberra (ACT) or Adelaide (SA) – Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office)
Start Date:
15 September 2025
Contract:
12 months + extensions (up to 3 x 12 months)
Clearance:
Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities
* Provide
first-level ICT support
(password resets, access issues, hardware/software assistance).
* Log, track, and update service requests in the ICT service management system.
* Assist with
setting up accounts, devices, and applications
.
* Follow ICT procedures and escalate issues when required.
* Deliver friendly, clear, and professional
customer service
to users.
* Contribute to team goals and participate in training to build skills.
About You
We're looking for individuals who are:
* Year 12 graduates with IT-related studies, OR hold a diploma/degree in IT, OR have practical ICT experience.
* Service-focused
with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Logical thinkers with problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.
* Adaptable, eager to build ICT knowledge, and comfortable working in a team.
Bonus points if you also have:
* Awareness of ITIL service management principles.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, etc.).
* Previous customer service experience (IT, retail, hospitality, or admin).
