Timber Mill Operations Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Timber Mill Operations Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about timber production and has excellent communication skills.
Job Description:
* Assist with all aspects of mill operations, including sorting and processing timber, to meet customer orders
* Support quality control across the production area to ensure high-quality products
* Sort and merchandise timber for further processing to optimize efficiency
* Process, pack, and prepare materials to fulfill orders in a timely manner
* Minimize material wastage and maintain a clean, safe workspace to promote a positive work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
* Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
* Experience in timber mill operations or similar industry (desired)
* Confidence using hand tools, drills, and basic equipment to perform tasks safely and efficiently
