Our family-owned workshop has immediate vacancies for Experienced Vehicle Painters to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Full-time Vehicle Painter role includes the following tasks and duties:
1. Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing
2. Application and blocking of filler and primers
3. Metal preparation for paint
4. Spray painting
5. Prime and top coat
6. Colour matching
7. Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
8. Maintaining and cleaning equipment
9. Storing paints in the correct conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Ability to work independently in a time and safe manner and in a team from time to time
2. Qualified vehicle painter with at least 3 years experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications
3. Attention to detail and pride in your work
4. Experience working with a variety of makes and models is preferred
5. Prestige vehicle experience – such as Mercedes, BMW would be highly regarded
6. Understanding of workplace health and safety
Salary
1. Annual Salary Range $58,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation - commensurate to skill set and experience.
