About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team within our Urgent Care Clinic and General Practice, open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both urgent care and general practice nursing within a large, established 32-doctor medical practice. You'll provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a modern facility that supports a wide range of acute and chronic presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver skilled nursing care to patients presenting with acute, non-life-threatening conditions in the Urgent Care Clinic.
· Conduct triage assessments and assist with patient flow and clinical decision-making.
· Support doctors with clinical procedures, wound care, plastering, ECGs, IV therapy, and other urgent care treatments.
· Provide general practice nursing services including health assessments, care plans, immunisations, iron infusions, travel health, wound care and chronic disease management.
· Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
· Adhere to infection control, cold chain, and safety protocols.
· Collaborate effectively within a large multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
About You:
· Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
· Minimum 2 years' experience in acute care, emergency, or general practice setting preferred.
· Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
· Flexible to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
· Current CPR certificate, ALS certification desirable.
· Australian work rights are required for this position.
