About This Opportunity
Our company requires a skilled warehouse professional to maintain our packaging materials warehouse, manage stock receipt and distribution, and provide support for general duties.
* Maintain accurate inventory levels, handle stock receipts and put-aways efficiently, and assist with stocktakes as needed.
* Operate forklifts and trucks to transport goods between sites and farms, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers.
* Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, report any issues promptly, and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
* Consolidate obsolete packaging for off-site storage or recycling and implement environmentally friendly practices.
* Promote a culture of excellence in hygiene, safety, and operational practices within the warehouse team.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A valid forklift ticket and manual HR truck license.
* Previous experience in warehousing or process operations, preferably in food or dairy manufacturing.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and hygiene.
* Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles.
* Physical fitness, good communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
