Eagers Automotive is currently seeking a motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team at Motors and Webster Trucks

About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller (FC), the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day accounting requirements in a professional and efficient manner and be hands-on in regard to dealership management.
Duties will include:
* Reconciliation of Bank Statement and Balance sheet accounts
* Assist with month-end processes, including P&L reviews and variance analysis
* Resolution of financial queries from management
* Monthly financial reporting and manufacturer reporting
* Management of Fixed Asset Register ensuring adherence to Capex Policies
* Assist with budgets, Year-end process, audits and other compliance activities
* Assist the FC with the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department
Skills & Experience
If you are someone who has great attention to detail, is highly motivated, and has the ability to prioritise work accordingly - we want to hear from you
You would ideally possess:
* Exceptional communication skills
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Accounting Degree
* CPA/CA qualified or working towards
* Strong proficiency in Excel
* Experience using Pentana ERA will be highly regarded but not essential
* Enjoy working as part of a team
