Position Description:
Rubies Nursing Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Nursing Support Worker to join our team in Dubbo and the wider Orana region. In this role, you will provide practical and personal support to clients, assisting them to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, and grooming
· Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
· Support community access, including transport to appointments and social activities
· Promote client independence and support the achievement of individual goals
· Build and maintain meaningful, respectful, and professional relationships with clients
· Follow individual support plans, organisational policies, and quality standards at all times
Skills and Experience Required:
· Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent or higher qualification
· Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience
· Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
· Sound understanding of the NDIS and person-centred care principles
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and sleepovers
· Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle
