**Job description**:
**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Richmond, we are looking for APS6 Reporting Analyst. This is a 12- month assignment. The role will paying $60.26 per hour plus Super.

The APS6 Reporting Analyst will be working in the Operations & Support division, responsible for identifying key trends to drive improvements in performance.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Performing research and data analysis to prepare Ministerial and Executive level briefs and reports.
- Generating detailed reports to provide case status and metrics from existing databases.
- Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements including meeting strict deadlines.
- Identifying potential performance and forecast risks using root cause analysis.
- Managing internal databases and conducting quality assurance and data integrity checks.

**To be considered you will demonstrate**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in working with SQL, SAS, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS HANNA
- Strong analytical skills within a genuine interest and passion for data
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests.
