We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of solid experience in SAP FICO, with strong functional knowledge across GL, AP, AR, AA, Cost Centre Accounting and Profit Centre Accounting.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the SAP FICO consultant will be to provide day-to-day support, enhancement, and optimization of the SAP FICO module. This includes hands-on configuration across various modules such as AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Bank setups, Payment Media, Interfaces and Cost Centre Accounting and Profit Centre Accounting.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for root cause analysis and issue resolution across finance processes. They will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clean FICO solutions and provide regular support.
Additionally, the SAP FICO consultant will be responsible for preparing functional specs, test cases, and UAT support. They will contribute to finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3–5 years solid SAP FICO experience (consulting or in-house)
* Strong functional knowledge across GL, AP, AR, AA, Cost Centre Accounting and Profit Centre Accounting
* Banking & Payments
* Tax, Reconciliations, Period-End
* Confident with integration points – Banking Interfaces and other interfaces
* Clear communicator who can work with business and technical teams
* Exposure to S/4HANA Public Cloud/Private Cloud
* Australian industry experience (Finance, Retail, Automotive)
