Position Description: We are seeking an ambitious individual with extensive health plan knowledge to join our team As a member of our benefits operations department, you will be responsible for handling the administration of all non-Prestige client plans.Roles and Responsibilities:

* Process all aspect of renewals (June/November/January)
* Process and administer the installation of new plans
* Communicate with carriers and clients
* Collect and maintain plan documentation
* Audit plans
* Claims assistance
* Partner with Accounting to reconcile bill
* Benefit system set up for new plans
* Assist with Open enrollment:
o Prepare the system for every client renewal change (benefits and contributions) for Open Enrollment
o Update all benefit rules for every client and class for every benefit offered for individual client Open Enrollment

Education and Experience Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree
* 3-5 years experience in the field of Employee Benefits
* Exceptional computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems
* Broker license

Skills and Personal Qualifications:

* Fundamental understanding and experience in administration of employee benefits and the community-rated market
* Working knowledge of compliance with ERISA and IRS laws
* Ability to administer multiple priorities at once
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Prism a plus
* Worked in Salesforce

Salary in New York is around $70K - $75 based on experience
Must work Hybrid Schedule 3 days in the office (Melville, NY), 2 days work from home.
