Lead the effective and efficient operation of Distribution Centres in ANZ through staff recruitment, development and motivation to improve processes and performance.
* Achieve a culture of continuous improvement to optimise service and quality while minimising cost.
* Provide clear leadership developing a high performing team.
* Support facility development to maximise capacity.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
* Develop a strong health and safety culture within DC.
* Drive high performance of DC.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate local carrier agreements as agreed with Global Freight Manager.
* Manage Facilities while involving Global Facilities Function.
* Optimise DC network for lowest cost and highest practical customer service levels.
* Maintain a safe working environment, minimising risks and delivering high standards of housekeeping.
* DC leadership team are developed to meet business plans.
* The appropriate resources and skills are available at the DC to meet current and future business need.
* Manage 3rd party Logistics contract ensuring compliance and maintaining service levels.
* Implement quality control processes and report non-compliance from internal and external sources.
