Your role within the team
We are looking for a Marketing Manager – Brand Operations & Performance to drive marketing excellence, brand effectiveness, and executional optimisation across the Swisse portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Brand Strategy, this newly created role on the Swisse brand team ensures strategy translates strongly into market by elevating creative, media, and channel execution, while partnering with, Omni-Channel, PR, and Commercial teams to deliver brand consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact. You will lead portfolio management, embed best-practice planning routines, build marketing capability, and drive continuous improvement to maximise ROI and overall marketing effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading two direct reports and managing a portfolio of strategic priority VMS segments.
* Building and implementing portfolio strategy and leading category expansion initiatives.
* Facilitating IBP process for marketing including annual planning and portfolio review routines across the brand team.
* Leading comms optimisation initiatives across major brand campaigns, ensuring consistency from strategy to execution.
* Partnering with agencies and internal omni‑channel, PR & Comms teams to ensure best practice with messaging, channel mix, and brand executional excellence.
* Developing and embedding marketing effectiveness frameworks, reporting, and capability uplift.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
* 7+ years in brand, marketing, or commercial roles within FMCG/CPG sectors.
* Skilled in ATL campaign optimisation, communications evaluation, and improving media/creative performance.
* Extensive collaboration with sales, category, digital, PR, and agency teams in integrated marketing.
* Experience with IBP, portfolio planning, cross-functional leadership, and annual planning.
* Able to manage multiple projects, simplify complex tasks, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong grasp of creative, media principles, effectiveness drivers, and measurement frameworks.
* Proficient in marketing analytics (Nielsen, IQVIA, brand health tracking, media analytics and Market Mix Modelling) with actionable insight delivery.
* Experienced in brand building, NPD development (Stage Gate methodology), creative and media optimisation, and integrated channel strategy development.
* Effective project management, process streamlining, and team building.
* Knowledgeable in full-funnel performance and ROI across paid, owned, and earned channels.
