Overview
Charles Sturt University Sydney is seeking a qualified and dedicated Information Technology Course Coordinator to contribute to the academic excellence and the growth of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will play a vital role in inspiring and educating the next generation of Information Technology professionals. The key objective of this position is to deliver high-quality teaching and support to our students, fostering their development in Information Technology in a growth setting. Charles Sturt Sydney is committed to creating an inclusive and culturally safe learning environment for all students, including First Nations students. Responsibilities
- Has full responsibility for managing and leading teaching staff and leads by example
- Takes accountability for building, training, and coaching talent
- Takes accountability for hiring and retaining talent
- Delivering course material to higher education students with expertise and strong presentation skills
- Liaise effectively with internal and external key stakeholders (CSU partners)
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of all students and takes responsibility for their own and others
- Has a sound knowledge of information technology software and applications across various IT solutions
- Strong coordination and organisational skills is essential
- Has the ability to present material in a concise manner for effective learning
- Has strong skills in administration and reporting and in a timely manner
Qualifications
- A PhD degree in Information Technology is required
- Previous teaching experience, preferably at the university level in information technology
- A Master degree in Information Technology is desirable
