This role supports delivering high-quality podiatry services within the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) as part of a multidisciplinary Chronic and Complex team.
Responsibilities
Provide foot care and podiatry services to clients within the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD).
Work as a member of a Chronic and Complex multidisciplinary team, assisting older adults to restore or maintain independence and wellbeing.
Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including falls risk and pressure injury risk, and deliver treatment, education, and intervention.
Utilise evidence-based guidelines to guide decision making and document care in electronic medical records.
Contribute to a diverse range of public healthcare services across community health centres and home visiting settings as required.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry
Registration: Current full registration with AHPRA as a Podiatrist
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated skills in podiatry assessment, planning and evaluating interventions for clients with chronic and complex health conditions
Understanding of health and care needs of persons with complex, chronic and/or aged conditions in the community
Ability to use relevant evidence-based guidelines to guide decision making for best client outcomes
Strong written and oral communication, computer competence, and ability to use electronic medical records
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Hold a current Australian driver's license and willingness to use for work purposes

Position Classification: Podiatrist Level 1/2
Remuneration: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (job share may be considered for part-time hours)
Location: Parramatta Community Health Centre and across Western Sydney Local Health District locations
