About the Role
The Warehouse Storeperson will support the project team to conduct day-to-day warehousing tasks to store, manage, receive and dispatch stock from a Brisbane-based storage facility.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Packing and unpacking of containers, crates, boxes, pallets etc.
2. Preparing freight for transport and inventory stocktaking
3. Checking inbound and outbound shipment manifests for accuracy and quality.
4. Operate mechanical handling equipment, such as forklifts and reach trucks, and warehouse plant as required.
5. Comply with all industry legislation, regulations and codes across import and export operations to and from Australia and other regions of the world.
This role plays an integral part in supporting global emergency humanitarian responses and works closely with the wider project team.
We are seeking a dedicated professional with excellent communication and organisation skills to ensure warehouse readiness.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in warehouse positions.
* Relevant High Risk Works licence for operation of mechanical handling equipment (forklift and high reach truck).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and knowledge of IT systems
* Good written and verbal communication skills
